-La digue:

- It has the age-old reputation of being "the pearl of Seychelles", and this is still valid today. It offers everything - beaches of fine white sand, waves, lagoons, different shades of blue, granite rocks, creeks, trekking on the mountains, a peak with a 360° panoramic view. La Digue has been preserved from mass tourist development, and still retains its cultural heritage. It is sparsely populated and you will find little urban development.

- La Digue is essentially a human-sized island: the main means of transport is the bicycle, as the island measures 4,5 km by 3,5 km. There are about 35 vehicles on the whole, among which are a few taxis and mini-buses. The most typical form of transport remains the well-known ox-cart, and its leisurely speed allows its passenger to make the most of the surrounding scenery.

- To get to this little Paradise from Mahè, you need to reach Praslin first ($37 and in 15 minutes by plane or $ 33 and in 1 hour by speedboat) and from there take the ferry to La Digue (6 or 7 trips a day starting from 7 a.m. The trip costs $ 8 and takes 30 minutes). Those who wish to fly directly to La Digue from Mahè in less than 20 minutes can do so by helicopter - flights can be arranged upon request and cost from $ 120.
